It's unrelated, of course, but I had another stunning instance of someone not being able to do math last night.
CW: "These cookies are supposed to be 2 for $4."
Me: "With the card."
CW: "Yes."
Me: *looking over his shoulder at the screen* "Regular price: $3.17, minus your discount of $1.17, which makes...?"
CW: "$2?"
Me: "And $2 times two equals?"
CW: "$4?"
Me: "Very good."
I was on the wrong end of the rope all night last night, it was near closing, I was not in a terribly good mood, thus why the simple math problem got me short.
