When my sister worked at meijers (Sort of like Wal-mart but regional) she mentioned the reason they would put clearance items outside and unguarded in front of the store was to hope someone would steal it because for insurance/tax purposes they could claim the value that was actually paid for said items, when they were really trying to sell them below cost.

Thats a good idea I keep breaking my $5 sunglasses maybe I should just bring them in and swap them out, jk. Actually sad part is if I go to Wal-mart from reading this board I probably could get them to exchange my several month old now broken sunglasses without the worry of needing to steal.

Oh, wait, if they last me at least a month they kind of served the purpose, really trying for 3 months but you get what you pay for.

Now that you mention gross feet I'm glad I'm paranoid and clean my sandals before wearing them.
I'm sorry reading is not a new concept it has been widely taught in our nation for at least the past 100 years. Please, learn to do it CORRECTLY before you become contagious.

I clean new sandles, too. I'm glad to see I'm not the only paranoid person.

Most pointless theft ever was at the garden centre where a thief stole a tomato plant pot. They took the plant out and stole the pot; which retailed at about 10p. -.- I mean, if you're going to take the pot, you might as well steal the plant as well.

Yes, exactly. I believe it was Irv who posted that someone had taken one suppository or some such.
Me. One Tum out of a roll of Tums.

Like my manager ranted, why not steal the whole damn roll already? It's not like we're going to be able to sell the rest of them, nor would we be likely to want to use them ourselves after who-knows-who fiddled with them. Not to mention that one regular strength Tum isn't going to do a whole hell of a lot for your heartburn.

You should always try on any type of shoe. A bad shoe can really screw up your back, hips, and knees.
And a good flip flop will only screw up two of the three?

Flipflops are actually supposed to be terrible for your feet.
