    Had a customer last night bring up the Blu-Ray of Sherlock Holmes. He scanned it, it scanned at $29.99, as it should. He gets angry, saying the sign says $19.99. I say, "ha ha, No way is the Blu-Ray cheaper than the DVD."
    He has me call to check it out. I call my manager on the other self check, he checks, and confirms my answer, I pass this on to guy. He yells, and says, "You know what? Just cancel the whole order."
    "Okay." Three button clicks, and it is done. I take his 'purchases', recase the Blu-Ray, and go on break. As I'm buying my lunch, the manager I had check for the price is running the reg I'm checking out on, and he passes on the customer's complaint that, "That gal was very rude!" Manager gets story, and says, "Yes, how dare she not drop the price of a movie on your word alone." Customer threatens to go to a different store. Oh, NOES!
    Manager tells me as I'm checking out, "You know what you should've done? You should've discounted the movie ten dollars, and then given him the rest of it free. It'd help us retain a customer."
    I look at him and say," I can't tell if you're being serious or sarcastic."
    "Sarcastic."
    'Oh, good, I don't have to hurt you.'
    "I call murder on that!"

    Lol! Yes, if he had been serious, then *I'd* have to come over there and hurt him....
    I no longer fear HELL.
