    When my Ex had one of the mid-range Rascal scooters a few years back, that thing could run for literally 6 or 7 MILES on a full charge. Not really something you would want to do all the time (kills the batteries faster and makes for frequent and expensive swap-outs). But then after a journey like that it took, at minimum, a couple of hours to minimumly RECHARGE not just a quick plug in.

    I am thinking she really needed to get a new set of batteries esp if they are dying that quick
