This was probably one of the funniest complaint I've had.

Me: Hi, how can I help you?
SC: I was promised my fees back! I want my fees back!
M: I'm sorry, let me take a look at your account.
I pull up the account, a regular overdraft customer who I know I've turned down for fees multiple times on the basis that they take advantage of it.
M: I'm sorry, I can't refund fees since you were already refunded in the past.
SC: NO! The assistant manager and manager both told me they would refund fees... and they HAVEN'T!!!!
M: Well, do you know who you spoke to?
SC: I told you! The assistant manager and manager! The two young ladies that run this branch!
Which is funny, because we haven't had any female managers in over 3 years... And I'm the assistant manager.
M: I'm sorry, I didn't approve any fee refunds on your account and my manager hasn't either. He hasn't been in.
SC: No, Jane the assistant manager promised me my fees!!
M: Our assistant manager isn't Jane... We don't have a Jane that works here.
SC: YOU'RE LYING!!! (Literally screaming at the top of her lungs.)
SC: Get me the assistant manager... NOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!
M: That would be me. You can take a look at my business card if you'd like, or the fact my name is on the front door under assistant manager.
SC: Oh... I must have went to another branch then.

She gets up and storms out... But ironically, we have no assistant managers in the region, or even surrounding regions named Jane. Who is this imaginary Jane she kept speaking of?

Scamming by intimidation, what fun. There are times I'd like favors granted. Perhaps I need to start ranting and screaming to get my way.

It is entirely possible he walked into not only a different branch, but a different bank. Some people bank with two banks.
