*Not the suckiest customer we've ever gotten in the library, but definitely she was one of the more persistant/annoying ones*
It seems that this woman must have been closely observing other customers as they were putting things in the bookdrop, because she came up to the customer service desk to ask about a movie which she'd seen a man return, and she wanted to check it out. (She described the movie as being called "Freeway", and having a woman in a red-and-white striped dress on the cover)
Which in itself wasn't sucky, however, no such movie had been returned in that period of time, and my co-worker had a really hard time convincing this woman of that.......she kept insisting that yes, we DID have a movie called "Freeway", because she'd just seen a guy return it. (I should add that I was on "check-in" duty at the time, and had seen no such movie come in)
Where this was getting a bit strange is that this woman mentioned one of the other movies which the guy had returned, and when looking up his account in our system, he had nothing called "Freeway" checked out on his card. Not to mention that this alleged movie, if it does exist, isn't even something we have in our system.......needless to say, my co-worker and I couldn't figure out what this woman had been talking about, or what movie she was actually looking for.
