  • The lying bish!

    I won't go into great detail. . .

but basically this lady called yesterday to get a price for a tire and I quoted her a price. She comes in and gets the service done and later when trying to pay she says the price we or as in I gave her is higher than quoted.

It was my day off today and I get a call from a CW asking about it, I told my CW the lady is BS'ing it, she authorized the work, she should obviously know what she is going to pay. Told my CW to tell our store manager who was in today. Oddly I get a call from my CW saying how the lady is raising holy hell bout the price and how 'I' have lied to her. I had enough, I went to work (it's only 5 mins from my house)

I walk in and see the biotch and her dumbass bf leaned on the counter. I asked if she was the customer who was saying I was the liar. Course to her shock I'm the guy she is talking smack about. . .

In the end she tried to bitch me out and her dumb bf couldn't even try to out smart me. Course I rebutted that I'm off and I'm not paid to be nice, which got her in a tizzy, my manager stood there and didn't say a word. My manager only said that I don't like people calling me a lair and he politely ask that I go to the back.

In the end I told her "have nice day C***" a word I have never called anyone and I walked back to the back shop back towards my car to go home and have my co-workers giving me applause and laughs, was vindication for all the SC's. My manager gave her 10% off, which is fine being it was still more than what she was claiming she was told. Obviosuly anyone could tell she was making stuff up so she could rip her way out of paying what she knew. . . I hope one day I see her outside in passing, like to see what she says then.

Later I told my manager I apologize for my actions, and he was cool with it.

I will admit I should have let it go. . . but I think today was my day to snap back.

At some point someone has to be willing to say "Okay, if you think you were ripped off, pull your car back into the shop and we'll put your old tire back on. Because you've been abusive to the staff here we are refusing to sell anything else to you. Good luck finding a better deal elsewhere."
Sorry, my cow died so I don't need your bull

I believe this is why alot of automotive shops in my area have started requiring payment in full, up front, before any work is done.
Make a list of important things to do today.
At the top of your list, put 'eat chocolate'
Now, you'll get at least one thing done today

I though about the times I've taken my car in for work and yes... whenever I've taken it to ravevolution's company... they have always specified exactly what the bill would be BEFORE starting the work. Hell, you have to sign that you accept it before they'll even start work.

so yeah, i call bullshit on that lady. big big bullshit

          i wouldn't call her a c*** however. that's an insult to c***s

Correct, we have you sign before the work is done, cause then it becomes a binding contract and the customer has agreed to the work and the cost of it being done.

Once in a while you will get a customer who tries to bs, by saying something like "well so and so said it was going to be cheaper/give me a discount" which is BS on that part cause if that was the case then whoever helped them would have the necessary adjustments on the workorder.
