Don't Keep Babbling Away!!!!!!!

This is from this morning (I left work early for an appointment in a while)

me *greeting *

customer *this happened and then this happened but before that this happened and then after that this happened and i left out that something else happened.....*
me "so............when the first thing happened, did........"
customer over the top of me "but later something else happened and then something else happened and then something else"

By this point I have NO IDEA whatsoever what the customer is talking about.It doesn't help that she is talking at the speed of light.

She had to repeat it all again to me, so what was the point in all the babbling?

If she stops to breathe, air might get to what is left of her brain and cause her to realize how annoying she is?

Or she might be uncomfortable speaking to people, and feel the need to rush what she has to say? Just saying.

Most likely, however, not the case.
