    Excuse, Who?
This happened to me awhile ago. I had this couple in my line, and they kissed, so I decided to dart my eyes away, because I really don't need to see that. I think the girl said something to me like "excuse you". I didn't say anything back to her, because I would have gotten into trouble if I said something.

Oh you are so kind, Sir.
This happened a little while ago too. I once had an older woman who had some item in her cart that she couldn't reach, and this guy was standing next to her. When she asked him if he could get her for it, his attitude was "she could get it herself". When He'd left, everyone else was commenting on how he was rude to the lady, because it was just one item, and it wouldn't have been that much trouble to get it himself.

EDIT I know that you can't ask a customer to do something that they don't want to do or anything like that, but it was the way he said it that was just a little off. But I didn't actually ask him.

    Coupon Woe
Our store used to take competitor's coupons, but now we do not. I had a lady today who had another stores coupon, and I told her we couldn't take it.
SC: It says manufactuers on it.
Me: But it's for another store.
SC: But it doesn't say I have to use it at [competitor]

I apologise and tell her that I'm not allowed to take it.

    Right Items, Wrong Day
I had a WIC customer, who had items that looked they would work, but the starting dates weren't until a few days later for the first, and almost month for the second. The customer says she thinks this is ridiculous, and I just tell her the checks can't be used until the right day.

    Another WIC Story
This WIC customer had an item that asked for an override on wic. She says that according to the WIC booklet, it should go in. But at our store, we're not allowed to override WIC, we could lose our WIC licence if we did that. She seems upset, but there's nothing I can do about our system.

    Stamps
I forgot to add this lady's stamps to her order, and she gave me a cat butt face. I understand that it's frustrating when this happens, but it was a mistake on my part and I didn't mean to forget the stamps.

That is all I have for you right now.

I hate that "excuse you" shit. It's usually said by somebody who is actually being rude to me, and they're pissed because I won't put up with it. You tried not to look at them...what did they want? For you to take a picture?

Erm, yes, actually, it does. Right where it says THAT OTHER STORE'S NAME, which means that it's good for that store only.
When you start at zero, everything's progress.

I've never really understood the coupon thing. I understand how it's a specific store's coupon, but then why do they advertise it as a manufacturer's coupon? Isn't that being both intentionally misleading and a bit of a lie?
A lion however, will only devour your corpse, whereas an SC is not sated until they have destroyed your soul. (Quote per infinitemonkies)

        Yes, in my opinion.
