  • We're ONLINE, what are you gonna do?

I'm a sort of online staff on a game. It's volunteer, not paid, but it's like helpers. (Well I am a helper..). You say help in game, and get transferred to me.

Now, every so often, people will say help, the pop up will come up with "Do you wish to send the request to the Beekins?" and there's an okay or cancel. People click ok just to get the popup off the screen and then I get the call in que.

Me: "Hi, how can I help?"
(Player in Game, now called PIG): I don't need any help, so don't whisper me.
Me: "Alright. Thanks for letting me know, the call came through on accident."
PIG: I said leave me alone.
    PIG: You're annoying.
    PIG: Stop talking.

Notice, after I said thank you, I stopped. He however, continued going for 5 more posts.. I logged it, knowing I'm getting a guardian complaint later. Sure enough:

Guardian Crunch: "You have another complaint."
Me: "Could it be PIG? Saying I harrassed him? Would you like the logs?"
Crunch: "Yes Please.. and can't you stay outta trouble? :P"
    Me: "Nope. Here."

The only bad thing about working as helper, as I'm treated even less like a person, than I am behind the desk of the hotel. Oh and some of the other questions / comments:

"I'll kick your ass if don't help me with (Dreamweaving/Dragonspeak/Harrassment (Which I can't handle, I need a guardian for that), Ripping off the paid market..)

"Want to Yiff?" (Yiff = IC or OOC Online Sex folks :P)

"Have a mate? IC, or OC": Well IC yes, he's played by a friend. and OOC I have a boyfriend, so bug off.

"Is Felorin, Talz or Gar real?" (3 Dragons Eye Production Admins, who roleplay and play their own games under their names ) Yes, they are real.

Well, it's CurFadia, after all! The only thing I could imagine would be more dehumanizing would be volunteering as a WoW helper. (Get it? Dehumanizing?)

Back on topic, any volunteer staff for any game is going to catch flack no matter what game it is. Just ask any of the GSes for anything hosted by Aeria Games about that. (Especially the two in my league on Caesary.)

Wow. I've never heard of "Yiffing." I just remember it being "wanna cyber?" Yowza. Things have changed. And "PIG" was an idiot.

Ah, the joy of working with furries in an administrative role. On Tapestries i was the builder and owner of The Golden Lash, and basically final authority there (sure, you could take your complaint to the Wizards, the people that run the muck, 'bout the equivalent of taking your complaint to the Supreme Court, where the success rate of getting your issue heard was even less). Never a dull day with that.

Luckily Taps is mostly self regulating these days. Each little fiefdom takes care of its own area.

Even back then it was, each business owner was expected to run their establishment professionally and deal with any issues themselves promptly, one place got shut down because of how badly it was run.

And yes, there's a bunch of us furries around here, some quieter than others, but we're here. Heck, we're everywhere, i was looking through a fur's Twitter friends, and one on there is listed as being in Saudi Arabia.

*giggles* Oh, man... That guy sounds like a pig. Unless he was a pig, in which case... Er... He's a pig who sounds like a pig as well.

                  Don't play Furcadia.

And I don't get why people go around asking if you wanna yiff. I mean, you don't walk up to someone and say "Wanna have sex?" in the middle of the street, no matter how attractive they find you. And if you ARE gonna ask me, do it in PMs, yeah?

Also, the thing about sex is that its no fun if you're not into the same thing. At least find out what they're into, and ask privately, dagnabbit.

                  Yeah, sorry, rambling.

I's a furry too, in case you couldn't tell.

Ahhh, the joys of Furc. I play it, but I have a love-hate relationship with most of the places I've frequented. I can't say much more than this here, but I recently had to leave a place because the head mod was being a lying jackass and no one else on the staff could see it but me.

Also, in another place I currently frequent, there's something I don't understand: Why, if you despise furries so much, would you be part of something called FURcadia? Like, half the people in this thing are so anti-furry and furry-bashing it's scary. As one who considers herself a furry to an extent, it was kinda weird to see.

No it hasn't. Yiffing is sex for furries. Cyber/ERP is online sex for everyone else.

And I'm betting the OP wishes they could just disconnect people from the game randomly at times. >.>

Hey fire: Wouldn't happen to be in FurN, the initials for the place be DFT?

Draco: Every so often, I get a lovely 'glitch' from Felorin (If I pester him enough) that gets whoevers harrassing me signed out.

Oh gosh no. I avoid FurN like the friggin' plague. I went there *once* several years ago, and vowed to never do that again.
