Had a customer buying a few things, one of them being a bottle of some kind of seasoning from the ethnic section. When I scan it, he claims it is the wrong price. I offer to get him a price check, and he says no forget it. But then, this is where the psycho part comes in, as he rants:
"I'm tired of things coming up the wrong price in this store!! It's happened to me the last three times! I'm going to report this store to (our county name) Department of Weights and Measures! $5,000 fine!"
He then asks if our store manager is in as I think to myself "Yeah, good luck with that." I tell him I don't think she is, and he just says ok. Then about a minute later, he goes "I told you three times already to get me the store manager!" For one, he NEVER actually asked me to do that, and I said she wasn't here. I see one of the higher up managers in the store and frantically call him over to talk to this nut. He talks to him for a bit and then goes over to the isle where that item was to have the price checked. A couple minutes later, the man walks by me and shouts "The item was two shelves over from the price! Things are always in the wrong place!" Like it actually had anything to do with me.
The person ahead of him said "that was rough" and then agreed with me that he never actually asked me to get the store manager, let alone 3 times. Seriously, this person was a freggin nut. Don't make stuff up, and go to another store if you are so unhappy because we certainly don't need your business since that fine will never happen.
