I was at the service desk doing returns when i woman comes up and asks to use our phone. Now there are two pay phones in the lobby-type area just outside the store, but SC didn't want to use them so...

SC: I NEED TO USE YOUR PHONE!!( and yes she did yell this)

SDW: Well that phone is for store use only.

SC: Well I ain't using the pay phone, that's poor customer service to make me spend my money on a phone call.

SDW: Well, I'm sorry but you can't use this phone.

SC: <snaps fingers> GET ME A MANAGER.

SM: Can i help you?

SC: I need to use this phone. but you people won't let me. this is poor customer service and I will tell all my friends about this, if I don't get to use this phone.

SM: Okay, you just need to dial 9 to get out.

SC: (on phone) Yeah, it's me did you deposit the money in the bank. You did? Well, it's not showing up!

Me: ( to SDW) I'm gonna put these returns away.

SDW: Okay.

SC: ( to me and SDW) Geez, could you not talk while I'm on the phone? How rude!

<I come back from doing returns and SC is still on the phone.
SC: So you're telling me that just because yesterday was a holiday I can't get access to the checks I put in Saturday.(note this was the Tuesday after labor day)

SC: Well, make this purchase go through! I have been a customer of yours for 25 years and I deserve better service....What do you mean ther'es nothing you can do get me someone who understands English.... Hello? I need the money I put in Saturday. God no one in your company wants to keep a customer. I don't care what prodedure is i need that money now nitwit. I'l speak you you any way I want I pay your salary. F-ck you. There is nothing you can do?I'll call the news and you'll be sorry. SC: ( to SDW) You should give me my purchase and I'll pay you later.

SDW: If you'd like to speak to a manager.

SC: F-ck that I'll miss my bus! Just give me my stuff!

SDW: I can't without..

SC: You're just too f-cking stupid to do it. Your company can afford it!! I waste my time with the brain-dead!

SDW: (close to snapping now) I'm sorry but.

SC: GAH! you'll make me for my bus. You'll be sorry you did this! It's a violation of the Americans with disabilties law!

We allow groups( the girl and Boy scouts local school groups, etc). to do fundraisers, by and large they are good but this one group of cheerleaders kept blocking the door, by standing directly in front of it. Now if you do that to our automatic doors, they won't open so that they dont wack the person in front of the door. Needless to say the doors didn't work. Our store manager had to go out and tell them five times to not stand if front of the doors. All the while people are trying to force the doors open. It was a mess.

I'm a coward and don't like confrontation, yet I swear I'd be fighting the urge to hang up the phone on she-bitch. My excuse? Using profanity in a store where there are children, disrespecting the people who are doing her a favor, and well...because I'd want to. The fact she demanded you give her merchandise without payment and then threw the the disabled card in your face...I just...gaaaahh!

Your store did her a favor by letting her use your phone at all and she promptly abused the privilege by making not one, but TWO phone calls, thus tying up the line while she verbally abused people. And then trying to get her stuff for free because of her own stupidity? Who doesn't know that a holiday is going to affect services like banks? Ick.
