    The people of fast food... need I say more?

    These are some of my favorite stories from the local fast food place I work at.

    Woman comes through the drive-thru and orders one of our Lime Drinks. I tell her the price and she asks (get ready for it) "does that come in a cup?" No sherlock it tastes much better when served in a paper bag?!

    Another women asked "Do you serve Diet Milkshakes?" WTF?! Is there even such thing?!

    This happens frequently, mostly through the Drive-Thru

    They place their order, I take their money and if I don't hand out the drinks or milk shakes first they will often ask are the drinks/shakes in the bag? Yes because we now have the power to fit 2 milkshakes and 3 sodas in a small paper bag along with your food...

    No, but someone really needs to get on that one stat!

        Healthy foods may power my body, but milkshakes power my spirit. If there were diet milkshakes, I would never be seen without a milkshake.

        Ever.

        Why I would even go so far as to drink two milkshakes if it would get me a milkshake. I never joke about milkshakes. Unless it's funny. And it's usually not. But I do it anyway. Because it's a milkshake. Period.



        Anywho, I'm rather shocked. What else could a drink come in besides a cup? I would have had the nerve to say "Just out of curiosity, what were you expecting it to be in if it weren't in a cup? Could be an interesting question to ask."
        SC: "Are you new or something?"
        Me: "Yes. Your planet is very backwards I hope you realize."

                Skim milk and low fat or sugar free ice cream. Blend it up and voilà! Diet milkshakes. Add light Hersheys Syrup if you're so inclined as well.

                    Pitcher? Jug? Is it one of the 'oh my god that is huge!' drinks? Hey..I'm grasping at straws here .

                    The correct answer would be "No you just lay under the spout and we will fill you up."

                    Not sure I would be brave enough to try a diet milkshake. Some of the diet pop is horrible..could you imagine what they might do to the deliciousness that is a milkshake?

                      Back in my Burger King days, we had a Coke and Cherry Slushies. We also had numerous people ask for Diet Coke Slushies. Does such a thing exist?

                        Not that I know of, but it could theoretically exist. After all they were supposedly created because somebody left a soda in the freezer too long (or was that Icee? Same diff though). So the same process could be used on diet soda I believe.

                          A diet milkshake??? Somethings do not need to be tampered with even if it is for the purpose of good.

                            Well, we used to put the drinks in our burger wrappers, but things got a bit messy.

                              I hate playing devil's advocate, but she might have been asking if they came in a bottle? I know a lot of places near me will ask if I want a cup (for the soda machine that you can get free refils from if you're staying in) or a bottle (that you can take out of the fridge and has a sealable lid so I can put it in my bag)

                              that said she should have said "does that come in a cup or a bottle?", co the suck is still entirely with her, we aren't psychic after all
