This happened on Friday
Female customer drives up to the visitor parking booth window. I saw her exit the metered lot across the street. Here is what happened.
me: "Hi how may I help you?"
female customer: "Hi, I am here to go to Admissions. Can I park here?"
me: "You can, but it is $5.00 to exit."
female customer: "Ohh...I'm sorry, but I have no money."
me: "I'm sorry, but it is all pay parking around here."
female customer: "So is there any free parking?"
me: "Well...it it is all pay parking around here then there is no free parking."
female customer: "Is there any free parking around here? I have no money."
me: "Well...all means all; pay parking means no free parking. There is no free parking anywhere around here."
female customer: "So what do I do?"
me: "I will raise the gate for you to go around to the left and exit."
I raise the gate for her to exit, but instead of exiting she enters the garage.

Since she was not too sucky or difficult at the window, I go inside the garage to let her know it is $5.00 to exit. She parks in a spot, & I let her know it is $5.00 to exit. She then has an attitude & says "I know... but how do I get out of here?" I point to the exit gate. She drives up to that gate. I go back to the visitor parking booth to get the clicker, & I raise the gate for her to exit.
