  • BLKUUUGHHHHHUGGGGHHHHhhhhhhhhhHHHHHH!!!

So, the most this week/last week has been idiot drunken teens at late hours, and rude people buying food for Turkey Day. Not so bad.

I was seriously annoyed, when stocking in the canned goods aisle, I hear teenage girls going AUUUGHHHHHHH BLAAAAUUUUUUUGGGHHHHH etc. over and over and over again.

They were so loud, we heard them from the other side of the store.

Apparently Mom was too busying looking at food to bother with her toddler, who was in the cart near to tears but also laughing, while her two teen girls were making those noises and sticking their tongues out and being generally stupid.

They were in there for an hour.

    UUUGHHHH BLUUUUUUUUUUJJJJJJJ AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHaaaaauuuuuuUUUUUUUuuuuuuuUUUGGGHHHH!!

For an hour. Mom just ignored the girls. Not even looking at the kid. Eventually, enough customers complained that a manager was on their way to talk to the mother, but they got by the infant's aisle when Co-Worker Lady popped her head out and yelled," SHUT THE HELL UP."

    They were quiet after that.

I'm surprised the mother didn't complain and demand all her Turkey-day needs (including supplies for the two weeks after, of course) for free because someone from the store dared speaking to their precious diddums in a manner that didn't convey total spineless subserviance

I could be wrong, but sounds like the teens were just thoughtless and didn't realize how loud they were. It seem sthey were trying to keep the toddler from screaming the place down since their mom was ignoring the upset kid.

One of the things I hate most about shopping these days is the amount of noise. I probably would have left the store.

One time there was a toddler letting out these ear-piercing screams. I mean the kind that can cut glass. What were mom and dad doing? Smiling and encouraging him.

My sister and I both ended up with headaches. Yes, it was that loud and high-pitched.

Being a mother and knowing how loud my son can be when he starts in on a tantrum I wonder what the motive of said teens was. I think they were trying to get the baby to smile and stuff which to me doesn't really seem that bad since they were in fact trying to help. However, my tolerance for childish bs has gotten a +20 increase since I leveled to MOM status.

                      Of course.

*blinks, facepalms* I said "Of course" out loud, and THEN typed my reply...

The baby didn't cry or make a single loud sound after they stopped, though, I really wonder if it was decidingwhether to laugh or cry at them =/
