  • Some Gems From Today...

Just some nice one liners I've had the pleasure to had screamed at me today.

What do you mean you need an account to get a gift card?!

You charge six percent on the coin counter for non customers?! What a load of shit!

You aren't going to charge me six percent or I'll never come back in here again!
Again, being a non-customer, I should care why?

Your policies are ruining Christmas for my entire family!

I hate this bank and I would never have accounts here.

Still two and a half hours left... I'll probably have more later.

I mean you need an account to get a gift card. What part of that was not clear?

No, the load of shit is assuming you can use resources paid for by real customers for yourself . . . for free.

Good. Then this conversation is over.

That's only fair. Your sucky attitude is ruining mine. Why should I be the only one to suffer?

If you hate us so much, why are you trying to mooch free stuff from us?

      Spoiled is what they are.

We upped our fee for the coin-counter to 10% for non-customers. The reason? We don't actually WANT them using our coin machine. Blasted thing breaks down enough as it is, which is expensive. Only reason we allow it for non-customers at all is because you can't exactly take the time to get the coin back once it's been run through. So if you aren't going to open an account, we'll charge enough that you'll take your "business" elsewhere.

I see I'm doing it wrong when I go to a bank where I don't have an account:

Me: What's the charge for cashing in my change?
        Bank: 10%
        Me: OK.
        (gets money)
        Me: Thank you.

I'll have to remember to throw in something about ruining a holiday next time I go. I think I'll wait till some lesser holiday type, maybe Arbor Day or something. I doubt anyone working there has gotten yelled at for ruining Arbor Day yet.

yes, another break in your little drama called life; our day isn't complete unless a sc spouts this line or one just like it.

i agree; charging a fee for non-customers is fair, after all, you are a non-customer and not providing anything for the bank.
          look! it's ghengis khan!
Sorry, but while I can do many things, extracting heads from anuses isn't one of them. (so sayeth the irv)
