I Don't Get Paid For That
Waited on a lady, and as usual, I'm turning the bag carousel when I fill up two or three bags per row.
This lady says, when I'm done (in a tone where you had to be there to get that it was rude), "I'm going to let you do that, I don't get paid to do that."
Bartenders Rock!
Another woman came through my line, and she had alcohol. I carded her, even though she said she was 30. She was saying, "Oh, I understand. I used to be a bartender, you have to card everybody..."
We went on to talk about how she was sympathetic for people in retail, and how you only understood if you were in retail.
Then she asked for a manager.
To compliment me.
Made my day so much better....
