  • Things havn't changed...

I *still* don't ship outside of the US, thanks for asking. If you'd bother reading the damn site, you'd know this. Getting schumky with me and asking if we could make an exception "just this once" will not change things. Ever.

    Yes, this includes Canada.

    *stabbity*

If this other site is any indication... a lot of people think Canada is a part of the US.

        Don't we own Canada?

I think they're a territory or something? Like Puerto Rico!

I've lost track of how many freaking CANADIANS think this, based on how many times they ask if "Ships only to the USA" includes Canada.

Hey, we deal with companies and I can't tell you how often some Canadian customer faxes/emails a PO over with shipping to them via UPS Ground.

Yeah.... no. You get UPS Standard or UPS Worldwide. Pick one.

The US...that include Mexico, doesn't it? And of course it includes Canada! Honestly, some people are so stupid.

                ...geography, what's that?

Shipping problems are even worse in Europe. DHL doesn't include most of Eastern Europe, Interlink won't do islands as part of the mainland, and half the others think Romania is somewhere in central China judging by their delivery times.

I'm not sure how they managed to do it, but I had a guy from Jamaica successfully buy a part from me.

This guy threw a fit when I told him that 1) $3 for USPS First Class was NOT going to cover shipping to Kingston from Orlando and 2) it didn't matter anyway because I didn't ship outside the US. He hadn't paid yet, so I was able to cancel the transaction and block him.

Could be worse. There are people in the U.S. who think New Mexico is a foreign country, and that Iowa is a mispronunciation of Ohio. Oh, and I also heard of one person who argued that there was no such state as West Virginia.

I've met several people around here who think that Puerto Rico is another country, and Puerto Ricans found here are illegal immigrants...
