  • Epic Rampage of Violence and Destruction

We have a group of contractors staying at the motel right now. This guy was one of them. His roommates tried to keep him down, but this guy was unstoppable. Fortunately, their boss is paying for the damages, because they are epic. I think this SC is going to get fired as well.

Other MOD was in the office, and heard this guy stomping and yelling and swearing upstairs (his room was directly above the office). So she went up to the room. SC was jumping up and down on the bed.

SC: "Oooo! Look! It's my momma! It's my momma!"
Other MOD: "No, I'm the manager on duty, and you need to settle down."
SC: "F** a bunch of that! F*** a bunch of that!"

SC then charged at Other MOD. SC's roommate grabbed him, picked him up, and threw him down on the bed. Other MOD ran away from there and called his coworkers in the next room over.

Other MOD: "What is going on up there?"
Coworker: "He just got back from the bar."
Other MOD: "Well, what is he on? It's not alcohol. I've worked in this business for 25 years, and I have never seen someone as out-of-control as he is!"
Coworker: "We don't know, but you should call the police."

Other MODcalled the police. The whole time, she could hear SC up in the room.

Dispatch: "Well, we'll take your number and someone will get back with you."
Other MOD: "I don't need a phone call, I need help! This guy is out of his mind!"

Other MOD called Cute Detective. He apparently pulled some strings, because the cops just showed up instead of calling back.

When the police showed up, SC's roommate tried to calm him down.

Roommate: "You need to calm down, man, the cops are here!"
    SC: "F*** them c***sucking b****es! F*** them! I can smell them f***ing b****es! I can smell them! Gggrrrbbblllll!"
Roommate: *to police* "I think you need to handcuff him, for your safety and his."

There were two police officers who tried to cuff him, but he broke away. All his coworkers came out and tackled SC. It took seven of them to tackle him and get him handcuffed. They had to put a vented plastic bag over SC's head because he kept spitting at the police.

He was tied to a gurney and hauled off in an ambulance. They were going to take him to the hospital to pump his stomach and see what he was on, but they suspected it was ecstasy.

Police took pictures of the damage to the room. He ripped out the bathroom fan out of the wall. He ripped the mirror off the wall, put it on the bed, and jumped on it and shattered it. He also poured shampoo and conditioner all over the carpet.

The company will be paying for the damages and the refunds we had to give to other guests who were disturbed by the events. The company said the money will come out of SC's cheque. Apparently, SC is making good money up here....remodeling a police department building.

"but they suspected it was ecstasy."

      ..that's not ecstacy.

If he was rubbing himself on the walls and talking about how wonderful everyone was, THAT would be ecstacy.

That sounds more like meth or something similar. Honestly, if the cops thought that's what he was on, then they really need more training. Next thing you know they'll be talking about OD'ing on marijuana needles.

Yeah, no way that was ecstasy unless someone cut it with something scarier.

It's lucky for everybody that he had a tight orbit. I'd hate to think what would happen if he'd gone to shit like that outside the room.

Not having done the stuff, my first guess on what SC was on would be meth.

We've had lots of meth heads before, but they've never acted like this. We'll probably never actually find out what he was on. Probably more than one thing.

That is what I call poetic justis. He is here working on the police building and now is going to stay in one.

What the hell is this crap? I've never heard of a police dispatcher saying we'll take your number and call you back, especially if you've described the situation that was currently happening in your place of business.

Sounds like PCP to me but whatever the hell he was on that really sucks for everyone who had to deal with him.

I agree. Not ecstacy. It typcially does not induce violence.

Meth or PCP. Both create a sense of invincibility. If the guy is new to drugs, it would explain why he didn't seem like a typical tweaker (methhead).

Both can make the patient so desensitized and violent that it takes a number of people to restrain them. PCP often includes hallucinations, and isn't as common as it used to be so I'm more inclined to think meth.

IIRC, bhskittykatt has had issues with a less than responsive local police department before. They seem to not like her hotel.

Not so much that they don't like us, but with all the budget cuts they've faced they were probably spread pretty thin. One of our fav cops once told us that he left his patrol area to answer one of our calls, because there were literally only three police on duty in the entire city and the guy in our area was busy on another call. I won't discuss more to try and avoid Fratching. But we have a pretty good rapport with most of the police, so it was probably just not enough people.

Other MOD was mainly just upset with Dispatch's attitude. She felt like they were just blowing her off. I think that's the first time we've had an issue like that with the 911 dispatch.

Speed mixed with alcohol is my guess, he probably bought pills thinking they were ecstacy. Idiots, they never seem to learn that dealer =/= trustworthy.
What a mess! *Shakes head* Personally, I'd rather pick up glass than clean up poop. It's doubtful, but I hope that this is a wake-up call for him.

i'm siding with solumina on this one; it fits all the descriptions i've heard of in regards to pcp. the behavior, indestructability/destructive actions (with no pain at that moment, but he'll feel that later on).

While extremely rare, it's not unheard of for even small doses of relatively 'softer' drugs like weed or ecstacy to trigger a psychotic episode, especially if the user is a habitual alcoholic, and not a habitual drug user.

It's also possibly he may have mental health issues, and went off his meds.
But I agree, the simplest and mostly like explanation is meth.
