  • are you serious?

SC bought a used 15" Flat screen computer monitor. he broke his previous one, and had used the extra LCD for his laptop which in fact also had a bad screen.
buys it, pays for it, walks out the door... calls not 15 minutes later..
    "it doesnt work"
now we tested it in the store (as we do with ALL equipment before it is sold).
I tell him to come back in, bring the monitor with him, and if it in fact does not work, i would give him a replacement LCD.
he brings back his old broken monitor.......
not even the same size or model as the one purchased...
screams "it does not work" and demands his money back.
I pull the receipt and explain he bought a 15" dell LCD the one he was trying to return was a samsung 17" lcd with a completely cracked screen.
the one he was trying to return was NOT the one he bought...
when I refuse his money back, he proceeds to go out to the front of my store (we are located in a strip mall) and tells everyone that walks by how we are a "rip-off" company... UGH...
he left after about 30 mins of no one paying attention.

    Seriously?!?!

Um, yes I guess this method works if you go to a BIG BOX store that sells the same exact thing, they have plenty of budget and good ties to the manufacturer so things can be sent back defective and fixed. Wondering how the police deal with attempted fraud/ theft by deception in your area?
I'm sorry reading is not a new concept it has been widely taught in our nation for at least the past 100 years. Please, learn to do it CORRECTLY before you become contagious.
