Have you ever had the pleasure of ripping into a SC? We've all wanted to, it's natural. I got my chance at WalMart years ago.
I was working at a grocery store at the time and went to WalMart after work to pick up a book. I was kneeling down when a belligerent woman started yelling and cursing. I looked around to see what was going on, couldn't find anyone and went about my business. The lady, on the other hand, walks a little closer and continues to scream and curse. Once again, I look around and the woman says "Yeah, I'm talking to you". I put my head down and start to chuckle. She wasn't amused as this pissed her off even more. She starts going off. I stand up, walk to her and say "YOU'RE TALKING TO ME? ARE YOU (F'ing) TALKING TO ME? DO I LOOK LIKE I (F'ing) WORK HERE?"
Her face turned a shade of white that I had never seen before as the blood just drained out of her head. She started stuttering trying to apologize.
I not so politely stopped her from proceeding. "Listen b!tch. It doesn't matter if I worked here or not, you shouldn't treat anyone the way you just treated me. Just because you are a customer doesn't mean you don't have to treat people without any respect. And next time, make damn sure you are actually talking to an employee before you start yelling and cursing at someone. You're likely to get hurt if you approach the wrong person."
Needless to say, I took out a lot of frustration on that customer because I could without fear because I didn't actually work there.
Has anyone else had an opportunity like this?
