BG - This happened over 7 (maybe longer) years ago, and most of the details are outright gone or fuzzy, I couldn't even hazard a guess as to any of the actual conversation. I was working as a CSM at Wally World.
A guy had been trying to chat up one of the cashiers for some time, and other CSM's had 'warned' him time and time again to stop. He kept coming back, and management wouldn't let us do much about it. I had just gotten my keys 'legally' (I had a code and keys for about 10 days before actually getting the promotion).
Now those of you who have seen some of my tales..know I don't exactly put up with idiots, sleeze, or sleezy idiots - /Bg
I was just coming back from switching out electronics till for the midnight change over, when one of the cashiers comes running up, telling me that 'HE' was back..and he had the cashier he had been hitting on backed up against the wall, and trapped. So, I rush to the front, and sure enough there he is, and there she is looking absolutely terrified.
I move in to stand RIGHT behind, him (I was a bit taller, and MUCH broader then he was) and cross my arms. I ask what exactly what the problem was.
Without looking back, he tells me to mind my own business, that he is trying to talk to the 'babe'.
Down comes my hand to his back (not hitting mind), and I turn him around..informing him that it WAS my business..and that the cashier didn't seem to want to chat. I ask him politely to leave. I wasn't angry yet.
He started on how he was a 'customer', and how I couldn't threaten him, blah blah blah.
I arched an eyebrow. "You thought that was a threat? I will ask you again..one last time..to leave the store."
Which of course was followed by how he was going to get me fired, arrested, etc. He was feeling very smug..
Until I lifted him by his shirt (the guy was a small guy, very thin..and I was a LOT stronger back then), and started carrying him out. He started freaking out, trying to struggle out of my grasp, kicking and the like..until he noticed that it not only was not doing very much good..but that I wasn't even really registering his hits. As in no reaction at all. Of course then came the 'This is assault, I'll call the police, etc' bit. I tossed him (yes litterally) outside, crossed my arms and told him. "Do not come back, you are not welcome." he left..of course with the "I was going anyhow" and threats of calling the police (which they never came to me..so
)
I fully expected to get written up or fired..and I did get a good 'talking to' about not touching the customers..but in that one case..Wally World didn't make a mountain out of a molehill..and the guy never did come back.
Edit : I know more then that happened, but I honestly couldn't tell you what. It was way too long ago.
PS. When I get angry..(which I was by the time I lifted him by the collar) my strength increases, and an odd phenomenon occurs. I don't feel pain. At all. At least until much later. Sometimes I am completely unaware of things that should be causing me pain. Not that I am ignoring the pain..there is just nothing to ignore.
