He asked to be moved from 316 to 319. Reason: There was a strong smell by the AC. I went up to smell it and I couldn't. I lied and said it was because my nose is somewhat stuffy.
He then asked to be moved from 319 to 318. Reason: 319 didn't "feel right."
Ah yes... the fart detectors. Those hotel guests with such an acute sense of smell that they can hone in on a lone fart in a house half a mile away, and perhaps even identify the legume that caused it. I hated those people when I worked in motel hell.

Meanwhile, our property had two rooms that people were always saying didn't feel right. The first was 113, our jacuzzi suite, and the second was 213, directly above it. Granted, a woman had killed herself in 113 and that room was forever after a hotspot of very weird activity. People would leave in the middle of the night not infrequently, or would more often just complain about the goings-on in there. It was rare that someone would ask to move out of 213, but it happened more than once.

Yes! However, you have to go into the city of Ludd in order to claim your prize.

Really? I have never stayed in a haunted hotel room before, this sounds interesting ... We may be headed to Iowa for a family reunion this august, are you on the route between CT and Iowa? PM me if you prefer =)

Unfortunately, I'd be out of your way but should you ever find yourself in North Carolina, let me know.

We live near a famous haunted hotel, but I never thought I would ever stay there since Mr. Mis gets freaked out by things paranormal.

However, last year, we did stay to celebrate our 20 year anniversary. We stayed one room over from the haunted room. I didn't think anything would happen since we weren't in the actual room, but the minute Mr. Mis left to get something downstairs I heard the singing ghost. The singing stopped the minute Mr. Mis walked into the room.

I thought it was the greatest thing ever and Mr. Mis thought it was great that it didn't happen when he was in the room.
