The "she" in the title is one of my favorite coworkers. She's not a jerk, and the title is what I wish I'd asked the customer. The couple went to the service desk for their electronics item (we sometimes hold stuff and walk it over to the register to keep a chain of custody for some reason. Whatever, CW was following the rule). I was waiting to take over the lane te couple had previously been in when CW walked the game or whatever it was over to me. The female SC walked behind me to get into the line. Nothing sucky yet, until she says out loud, to no one in particular, "Well, she's a real treat." Now, I know that was loud enough to make sure I heard it (she must've thought I was a mngr), so I responded as if it weren't sarcasm. "I would agree [big smile]" as I looked back at her. When she got up in line she complained and I disagreed with her, explaining that CW was one of my favorite people in the store. I don't even know what happened, but passive-agressive sarcasm isn't going to get me on an SCs side. I could tell she was annoyed, but was so friendly and nice she couldn't fight me. Even if her complaint was valid (again, I don't really know what happened), she shouldn't have dragged me into it. So she didn't get what she wanted from me.

Would you like me to tell her she's a jerk?
