Why aren't they being booted immediately?
Don't be silly. If they get kicked out, they might never come back....

And yes, this is really how large Corporations think. They may even send these people gift cards or waive the cleaning fee, just so as not to lose their precious business >_>

You'd be surprised how much urine you can produce when you have been holding it for 40 forevers. Maybe that was the case?
An adult bladder only holds 10-12 fluid ounces (300-350 ml) of urine. Kids are, of course, are smaller. That kind of mess was multiple "accidents".
I'm trying to see things from your point of view, but I can't get my head that far up my keister!

An adult bladder can hold up to 16 ounces (500 ml). Imagine splashing that onto the floor, and you'd get quite a large soggy spot. Maybe mommy and daddy were into water sports.

In other news, I found out that a kid's bladder holds (age+2) ounces. Google, you educate and intrigue me at every turn.

My bladder can hold a litre without bursting, just barely. Last year, when I got home from hospital, I suddenly couldn't - well - make water. When I got back to the hospital they put a catheter in and got almost a litre out, the exact amount escapes me, but in the 980 ml range.
It hurt quite a lot. I'm sure that if I had been able to, it would have come out before so much had collected.

I've read enough stories on here lately to not want to stay at a hotel ever again.
Frankly, I think I might be safer camping out in the woods or sleeping in my car.

I always wanted a nice motorhome for vacations. I love parks and campgrounds. They are just way too expensive to buy maintain and insure =(

                  Where's the threshold?

Just how much mess/damage does a person have to create before management WILL kick them out?

That really depends. If the manager's clothes or vehicle were involved/targeted, 0.0000000000001 ounces. If not, anything that won't get the place sued is likely fair game.
