I will agree that it was ONE of the best episodes ever, along with the first episode of the Eleventh Doctor and Blink. Probably a few others belong on that list, but those three stand out for me.

Blink was my favourite episode until The Doctor's Wife, but it's still a very close second. And The Eleventh Hour was also very good. Not top 5 favourite for me, but definitely top 10.

of all the things to steal. i mean really a Buddha?!? they're begging for a lightening bolt.

That reminds me of a family visit in the 60's to some old west town (not a ghost town in the truest sense, but not terribly commercialized either, just a couple of little museums, a few buildings you could look thru, and of course a tiny little gift shop.

The old church was still standing, and on it's side was a series of signs, held together by rope, of the 10 commandments. Well, actually, the nine commandments. Someone had taken the one that said "thou shalt not steal".

        Madness takes it's toll....

That's hilarious! Well...it was wrong of them to take it, of course, but still very, very funny.

And I suppose, if you're going to commit a crime anyway, might as well do it in a way that will garner a few laughs.

Silly RetailWorkhorse, molasses makes things taste bad, not good.

Now vinegar, on the other hand, will make pretty much anything taste good. There's nothing good that can't be made better by pickling it. Even chocolate tastes great pickled!

            ...What?
LIES! 'Lasses is yummy! ...I am greatly tempted to try the pickle-d-d-d chocolate, though.

                You poor, deluded soul.

Although I will admit that I do enjoy molasses cookies. That's it though, as far as molasses is concerned.

                And pickled chocolate is awesome!

Now I'm curious about the pickled chocolate.

I bet that if Amy Pond had made that for 11 he would have liked that more than fish fingers and custard. Hmmm...I wonder if poor Rory had to eat that during him and Amy's games of dress up >.>

Gonna have to agree that "The Doctor's Wife" is one of the best episodes of Who I've seen, and Gaiman certainly had a lot to do with that.

My favorites, though, include "The End of Time", "The Eleventh Hour", "Blink", and "Midnight" (because it required little special effects and had great writing)

First RetailWorkhorse, and now you. I think I might be starting a food trend here.

Well, while I haven't personally tried it, I've seen people say online that it's pretty tasty. One of the members of Chameleon Circuit evens mentions in one of their songs that it tastes good. So with 11, who knows what he would have preferred?

Has anyone here tried the chocolate covered bacon? I'm trying to get up my nerve, lol. I've heard of it, but never encountered it til we found a new frozen yogurt place - the self serve ones where you fill your cup then add your own toppings & pay per ounce. Only this one, rather than every cookie & cereal known to mankind and 15 kinds of gummy animals, is more upscale, catering not so much to kids (though my granddaughter still loves it) as to adults - more sophisticated flavors of yogurt, fancier toppings, and even a shelf of things like teeny little eclairs (barely bigger than the blackberry on top of it), chocloate covered strawberries, and even chocolate covered bacon and something with chocolate & jalapenos.

                            (sorry for the thread-nap)
