Just a couple:
check-in time is not snack time
Was checking in a guest. Halfway through, he pulled out some candy and just started chowing down. He swiped his credit card, then started munching on candy until I reminded him that there were still more instructions on the swipe-machine for him to follow. He then left all his candy wrappers for me to clean up.
It was minor, but it really annoyed me. In hindsight, I will concede the possibility that he may have been diabetic and needed that sugar right at that moment, but still he could have cleaned up his candy-wrapper mess.
"Someone" said you could pay late, but you don't know who!
Yesterday, SC had only paid $40 on a $65 bill by the time I reached work at 3 (check-out is at noon). It wasn't until 4 that I saw another $20, and it was after 6 when I saw the final $5.
Today, they told CW that "someone" said they didn't have to pay until 2pm. CW asked if I did; I said no and CW said that's what she thought I'd say. She told SC to pay or get out. They finally left at 2pm. They were still seen wandering around at 3, though, so I may not be done with the group yet.
SC also left some tickets in her room when she left. One for shoplifting, and one for DWI. She also had a printout titled "Failure to Appear Information" with a list of, let's see, 19 other tickets. We have a real stand-up citizen here, folks!
