    Want me to do something for you?Then be rude!

    B/G As you might know I make custom pageant clothes for people. I do a lot of playing around with photo editing and video editing for my own use as well and have never offered it as a service. But one day someone that was a good customer of mine needed a slide show done for Father's day for her son that is serving overseas and she needed it done really quick. I told her send the pics of her grand daughter to me and what song she wanted and I would do it, for free. She LOVED it and insisted on paying, and just sent some money to my paypal when I told her that was OK. So ever since then when she has needed a slideshow or video edited she emails me. I don't mind doing it and have fun but she actually pays very well, still a lot less then for a professional but more then I would actually charge for what I think is my amateur work. I also helped her figure out how to do some simple things on her computer like make a new folder and transfer all the files she wanted to send into a zip file to send them to me all at once instead of 100 emails with one pic in it

    So anyway a few weeks ago I got this horrible virus that I think came from an email from a new customer since after I downloaded the pics she sent my computer started going INSANE My facebook page was somehow disabled and I could not access it. Lost my contacts, it is very frustrating. I got this email from above customer a few days ago. Evidently when I tagged her in a video I did for her when my account got deactivated it deleted it off her wall and she had never downloaded it, just sent people the link off my page. Keep in mind this was over a month ago that she purchased this certain one from me.

    "HEY WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU? YOU ARE NOT ON MY FRIEND LIST ANYMORE AND I CANT FIND THE VIDEO THAT I BOUGHT FROM YOU? WHAT IS GOING ON?"

    I sent her an email explaining what happened and told her I was glad to resend it to her since I luckily still had it on my computer. Then I get this

    "yes , well you should make you another page! i paid for that picture video and dont have it anymore. Can you please send me my video??????????????????"


    I AGAIN tell her yes, I am sending it to her through a file share website. I don't know if she didn't get the link or more than likely she could not figure out how to download it. I go on a pageant board today that her and I both go to and see this

    "OK GEORGIA LADY I KNOW YOU FREQUENT THIS BOARD AND IF I DON'T GET WHAT I PAID FOR I WILL OUST YOU TODAY HERE AND ON FACEBOOK, YOU BLOCKED ME BUT I STILL HAVE MANY OF YOUR FRIENDS ON MY PAGE..."

    So I gritted my teeth and nicely responded
    "If this is (name), I sent you the link to download the video when you first paid for it last month. I told you that I got a virus and my facebook got hacked, I did not block you. I no longer have that page or access to it and have to set up another page which I am trying to gather pictures together for. When my page got deleted I guess the link that I posted on your wall to link it got deleted as well. I sent you the video again through email a couple days ago when you told me it was gone and again this morning. I have done lots of videos for you and always followed through and you know I already sent you that video once when you paid last month and it is not my fault facebook deleted it off your page when my page got deleted. I am sorry you feel like I somehow did you wrong. Ask any of the friends on your page that had my page on their list, they cannot access it either because it is gone. I liked doing the videos for you and would not block you."


    So far she has not emailed or responded on the board yet. But I will tell you one thing, when I get my new page running she will NOT be invited and I will NOT go out of my way to do something for her that I don't normally do again!

    What is it with people just flying off the handle?

    It's not like you didn't tell her repeatedly what happened.

      Holy ****. There really is no need for that. I can understand if the customer was a bit confused at first but you explained many times, the is no need to be called out on that board especially if you get work through it. I hope you don't get any more hassle.

        What ever happened to understanding? What happened to trusting someone you've known for a while and never had a problem with before? Good for you for deciding not to invite her to your new page! If she'll react like that, who knows how bad she'll get later on down the road!

          People like that piss me off to no end.. I would've made sure she got her bloody video and then blocked her.

            I know this is realllllly reaching ... but is there any chance at all that she has not gotten anything you've sent her ... emails ... video ... ?

              No, she got it when I sent it originally a month or so ago when she wanted it done. She said she could not figure out how to get it to upload to facebook, even though I explained it, so I uploaded it to my page and she tagged it to her page for her as well. So I thought she had at least downloaded it to her computer from the first time I sent it. Then when the page went down I am guessing it was no longer in her videos so she freaked out. She probably even still has it on her computer and didn't even realize it Then she sent that email and very luckily for her I sent it to her through yousendit. It said it had been delivered to her and I have never had a problem with anyone getting it before. Then she freaked out again and I sent it a second time when I saw that post. I say she probably did not understand how to get it or she even downloaded it and it went to her download folder in her documents and she could not find it or something.

                You forgot the part where due to her behavior, you'll be more than happy to block her and never do any service, free or paid, for her ever again.

                Seriously. Why do people think they can act like that and still maintain a good relationship with the person they're trampling on?

                  Since it was on a public board where I get business I had to be as nice as possible even though I wanted to go off on her. If she ever emails me again she will get the full force of what I actually WANTED to say. And I will be watching carefully when I start up my new page full force to make sure she is not a part of it. Although I will be telling her why before I ban her
