Odd Customer (OC) came up to me the other day asking me about the "20% off on ink on Wednesdays" special.

Me:
OC: *annoyed*

OC: 20% off on Wednesdays on ink.
Me: I'll have to check the flyer.
OC: You know the answer. You just don't know what you're saying. I'll go ask him. (pointing to employee at door) *walks off*

Manager: (was right next to me) There's no special on ink. We use to have a 10% special if you bought ink with paper but that was 3 years ago.

I looked around to see if OC was coming back, maybe to try saying something like "but the other employee said it was OK" but Manager said he left.


Normally i wouldn't mind an odd question. I just didn't like that he seemed a bit condescending with how he spoke to me.
