Ok let's review:

You've come in with 4 sealed games and no receipt, demanding a cash refund. You claim they were purchased here "a few days ago" but can get no more specific than that. You refuse to accept a store credit or product exchange, you must have a cash refund.

I explain to you we don't give cash refunds on unopened merchandise without receipt. You bitch and whine and moan about our apparently "stupid policy". Oh that's right, I forgot, it is a stupid policy because people never, ever steal games to try and sell them to us.

Again you demand a cash refund and call me an asshole when I say no. I tell you to watch your language and you call me an asshole again. Ok, it's manager time.

You go through the same song and dance with my manager and call her a "no good bitch c**t" when she shoots you down.

Oh and you also do this within earshot of at least 4 children under 10 years of age.

You then get asked to leave the store, but refuse and threaten to burn the place down if we don't give you your cash refund.

The manager informs you that you have just made a threat against us and as such police will be called.

You say the manager is bluffing. Manager starts dialing.

You take off out of the place, but not before calling me a "dick", the manager a "whore" and the store "the shittiest place I've ever been to."

We didn't actually end up calling the police on this guy, but we did put him on a watch list where if we ever saw him step foot in the store again, he would be booted out immediately. To the best of my knowledge he never returned (and thank god for that!)

Sounds like the guy was after drug money. I'd bet that the games were most likely stolen.

I've traded games in before, but 1) they're unsealed, 2) they're not necessarily from the same place that I'm trading them back to and 3) I don't DEMAND a cash refund.

I agree, would it be too late? Just to have it on the record that he threatened you? Might make it easier should he ever return.

Oh sure, it's an innocent and legitimate refund. That's why he has no receipt, demands cash and results in childish namecalling and threats when offered store credit instead.

I'd also suggest calling any other branches of your store nearby and warning them about him. Possibly other similar stores as well.
