Oh, an idiotic situation happened when I was working this weekend and I was scanning this guys stuff through when this conversation occured.
SC: I'm going to get 2 flats of water
Me: Okay, unfortunately I need the flat in order for me to scan it
SC: How come you don't have it
Me: I'm sorry I just don't have the sku at my till, do you want me to grad the flats for you.
SC: Ok Fine
(Grabs one bottle from the flat of water, expecting me to scan it)
Me: I can't scan the whole flat by the bottle, I need the actual case of water
Co-Worker behind me: Here, you can scan it on my namebadge, it's the $4.54 one.
Me: Oh great... thanks (scans the namebadge twice).
