The kind of SC I like to see!

So I'm at the grocery store today and I'm watching the screen as the clerk rings up my groceries. I don't normally do this, but I had loaded some ecoupons, so I wanted to make sure they went through.

Order complete, so I hand over the Store Coupon that entitles me to $3 off an order of $35 or more. There is a little issue with getting it to scan, but I'm polite and patient. When the clerk and the supervisor finally get it to go through, it shows up on the screen like this "SC $3.00"

I thought of this site and had to giggle

Yeah. Unfortunatly, we have those too on our stores computers. SC= Store coupons, But it could also mean SC=Sucky coupon that won't scan. LOL

Store coupon and Sucky customer!!! Yes, usually, there are plenty of sucky customers who have a store coupon, half the time of which it's expired but they're hoping the cashier won't notice, and when the coupon is rejected, they shriek and scream for their discount and threaten to call Corporate about it.

Then corporate, as we all know, makes us honor the expired coupon anyway in many cases.

A local grocer has a discount-type card that you scan for extra discounts & sale prices. The register always asks for the SC card.
