How exactly am I supposed to resolve your complaint if you flee the building?

A quick one from today’s shift at the pub.

Normal lunch time shift. A little bit busy, but manageable. Quite a lot of food was purchased by customers. Suddenly, a lady stormed up to the bar.

SC: MY MEAL IS DISGUSTING! I AM NOT EATING IT! HOW DARE YOU SERVE THAT TO ME!? I DEMAND A REFUND!!!!1111111!!!BLARGH!!!11111!!!
Me: Oh dear. I’m really sorry to hear that. Let me just go *I turn my head away to look for a manager* and find a mana-*I turn my head back*

She was gone. I saw her storm out the door and slam it behind her.

I went to her table. Her meal was practically untouched. I inspected it and found nothing wrong.

I wonder if she’ll be back...
