  • "I want more change!"

    Very strange event involving a SC. It was so strange, that even the SC's friends turned against him.

    So I was serving the guy on the bar. He was ordering two lots of burgers for his table...

    Me = Moi
    SC = Obvious
    SCF = Sucky Customers Friend

    Me: Ok so thats two double cheesburgers. Anything else?
    SC: No thanks.
    Me: OK, so that's £11.70 altogether.

    He hands me a £20 pound note.

    Me: OK, so that's £8.30 change. Enjoy your meal.

    He glares at me.

    SC: You've short changed me.
    Me: I have?
    SC: YES! I AM DUE FIVE POUND MORE!
    Me: Can I just see your change?

    He hands it over.

    Me: You gave me £20 right?
    SC: Yes.
    Me: OK. *starts counting out change* So it was £11.70. So that's 12, 13, 14, 15 and a five pound note makes £20.
    SC: I AM STILL DUE FIVE POUNDS MORE!!
    Me: I'm sorry but you're not.
    SC: THIS IS BULLSH!T! YOU'RE RIPPING ME OFF!

    His friend jumped in.

    SCF: What the f**k are you doing?
    SC: What!?
    SCF: He's given you the right f**king change, what are you doing?
    SC: He's ripping me off!
    SCF: No he's not! Just go back to the table and sit down!
    SC: This is bullsh!t! Bullsh!t! I'm owed a fiver!

    He went back to the table.

    SCF: I'm sorry about my friend. He's a retard.

      The monent he started swearing, the moment I would have said if he didn't lower his voice and stop swearing at me I would have the police meet the airplane.

      What a freak.

        And that begs the question, "Then WHY are you friends with him?"

          Come on, everyone knows it's just a civic duty to be friends with the mentally disadvantaged! He's just doing his part to help someone live a fuller, more normal life!

            Jeez. Reminds me of a kid I had. Large group of kids all buying their own stuff. Kids hands me a $5 for a drink, before he leaves decides he didn't want it, has been told to hurry up, decides to just get his money back. As it's not opened and he didn't even walk out with it, I'm ok with it so I give him his money back.

            He said, "But I gave you a 5".
            "Yes, and I gave you the change for it"

            He could not wrap his mind around this. I got tired of him and told him to go have his parent explain it to him.
