We had a couple come in late tonight. Normally our rooms are about 100 bucks but do to the lateness of their arrival (they were walk-ins) we offered to lower it to 70 for them. What was their reaction they insisted that "It was too much" after realizing we weren't going to lower it even more they left "to find someplace cheaper"
This is a beach town on a Saturday during a wine festival it's the cheapest you're gonna get. Hotels are here to make money. If we allowed every cheapskate guests to rent the rooms at prices "comfortable" for them we'd be out of business. Get a clue before you travel.
