So my store is fairly well known for having an As-Is section at the end. Essentially, if a customers returns an assembled piece of furniture, or if it's an old display we're trying to get rid of, it ends up there where we sell it at a reduced price.
As with anything sold under the name as is, these sales are final. If you get it home and decide you don't like it, too bad. It's yours.
So how do so many people not know what as is means? I get so many questions about the return policy on as is stuff it drives me nuts. And I don't just mean they missed the sign. How do these people not know the very simple meaning of as is?
