I wrote before about how our mall has a (very popular chicken place recently in the news). Well, someone(s) has begun defacing Mall Property with anti-chicken place graffiti. This sucks. Chicken place doesn't have to deal with the headache or clean-up, the Mall does. Not fair to us at all. I guess they won't be happy until we kick Chicken place out of the mall or something. Grrrr......

Vandalising Mall Because of 1-Store

Reminds me of that idiot who yelled at the drive-up employee for the company's policies.
If you don't agree with a company's policies, you contact Corporate. You do not take it out on the front-line employees or the mall where the store is located. They had nothing to do with the policy, and it only makes you look like a bully.I don't have an attitude problem. You have a perception problem.

I get it, chicken place has very controversial policies and donating practices, I'm still going to not like you for punishing people who don't even work for the company at all (IE, the poor mall janitors and cleaners who have to deal with your graffiti, who might even agree with you.)
Just a jerk move.My Writing Blog -Updated 05/06/2013
It's so I can get ideas out of my head, I decided to put it in a blog in case people are bored or are curious as to the (many) things in progress.

It would still be sucky even if it were a stand alone chicken store. The people that end up having to pay and clean it up are not the ones the person is mad at. And even if you are mad at a company, is that really a justification for vandalizing private property?

There really are better ways to protest companies that you disagree with. Boycotting and opening your mouth to explain to others (calmly and intelligently) why you are boycotting and why you feel they should boycott too is going to go WAY further than any kind of graffiti and vandalism.
Breaking the law is rarely a good way to go about getting people to listen to you.

Without getting Fratchingesque, I guess this is the epitome of SCness - when you're unsatisfied about something, you lash out to the person geographically closest to you, no matter whether the next person has an effect to your unsatisfaction or not. That goes from general store policy down to "your cw was mean to me, so now I retaliate by being mean to YOU" as we (unfortunately) have seen in several threads.A theory states that if anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for, it will be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.
Another theory states that this has already happened.

Quoth foodservicesucks View PostCan't say much about this without getting into fratching territory, but it's unfortunate that it's not the chicken place that has to deal with it.

Vandals are just vandals
Let's say the chicken store management donated to liberal causes, supported gay marriage, and made a bid donation to the DNC this year. Then, because of that, some loon vandalized the mall. Would you be blaming the chicken store for that damage?
It's the same either way. People are free to support the causes they believe in. Private property is still private. Vandals are vandals.

Quoth Lace Neil Singer View PostGet that all the time where I work. The Government fixes the fuel prices by loading tax and VAT on to them, so of course it makes perfect sense to shout at the lowly petrol station cashier when you're upset about the price of fuel! The Rich keep getting richer because they keep doing what it was that made them rich. Ditto the Poor.
