Wow O Wow did he ever!
LOVE how Abbott's smirk fades as Gillard nails him TO THE WALL!
Who is the gentleman behind the PM to the left as the camera faces her? I liked how his facial expressions ran the gamut from a mild "Yeah, take that." to "Damn, she's burying that dude!"
If you're referring to the left from our perspective (her right), that would be Wayne Swan, who IIRC is/was our Treasurer.

The other guy to her left (our right) is Anthony Albanese who is/was the Leader Of The House (somewhat like a secretary)

. Kids in general LIKE hugging people they like!
When I worked with the health dept., I had to go to people's homes. One apt. I visited, the grandfather, who was in a wheelchair, missing a leg, was really nice to me. The oldest grandson, who was kicked out of school, was always sleeping. One of the little grandkids (who I never interacted with) saw me at his elemantary schoold and came up to me to hug me. I was all "huh?" but I thought it was cute. At another home the kid, 3 or 4 years old, came up to me and gave me a hug. I was "huh?" but didn't do anything like get away. I just didn't understand why kids would hug a stranger. Sad thing, the little boy in the last instance died in a house fire a few months after I stopped going to his home.

Also when I was in the health dept. we had cell phones (which all you could do was call on them; this was the late 90's) and key maps. Even in the office we used key maps, no internet using to find an address. One day a female cw called the office and asked for directions. I gave her directions. Then she says, "Get me a guy to give me directions." Of course I gave her to another female cw.
Time! Time! Time is what turns kittens into cats.

Don't teach me a lesson; all I learn is that you are an asshole.

      I wish porn had subtitles.

I had As It Happens on the radio in the car tonight and heard some of that PM's dressing-down. It was spectacular.

Also, in response to XCashier's story, I think this guy is awesome: http://www.drewemborsky.com/

Although... part of me says... if boss was so offended he could have also said something like "no. In fact none of our workers will change your oil or touch your car now. Get lost."

                    Of course you may.
                    Seshat's self-help guide:
                    1. Would you rather be right, or get the result you want?
                    2. If you're consistently getting results you don't want, change what you do.
                    3. Deal with the situation you have now, however it occurred.
                    4. Accept the consequences of your decisions.

One guy is now working as a professional chef - he decided he liked cooking enough to go to the CIA.
I knew that cooking required intelligence, but didn't realize it was in the "cloak and dagger" sense. Is he spying on the other kitchen staff?

I think AccountingDrone meant the Culinary Institute of America.

Although it does amuse me to think that "The Company" is training chefs.

Anything's possible. I mean, working in a kitchen for a wanted criminal (for example) could make one privy to all kinds of information that could be very valuable to someone (or several someones.)

                            Er, it depends.

If the aforementioned wanted criminal is within the boundaries of the US, then it would be the FBI that would use these "specially trained" chefs.

Outside the US, yup, that's the purview of the Central Intelligence Agency.
