A lady comes in today to complain.
Me: Awesome game store manager
SC: Crazy old bat
Boss: Gord 2.0
SC: I would like to make a complaint, I sent in several emails and no one answered so I came in to make the complaint in person.
Me: What is the problem?
SC: I bought 2 games back at Christmas for a gift and when we opened them pieces were missing and broken.
Me: Did you bring the games with you so we can check them?
SC: No, I left them at home.
Me:
If you want a refund you need to talk to Boss *pointing at boss*
Boss: So what is the problem?
SC: You sold me 2 games that you opened, broke the pieces, and then resealed them.
Boss: We get our product direct from the supplier and do not have the machinery to rewrap product.
SC: You must have the machine, it is easy to do, it must be in your back room or somewhere in the mall.
Boss: *amazingly keeping calm* sorry maam but that is illegal and we do not do that.
SC: I am writing a review telling everyone about you guys and how bad you are.
Boss: Go right ahead.
SC: *leaves store*
Boss: *to me* Find that review and ban her permanently.
I was thinking about it a bit later and am pretty sure that she bought the game, played it a bunch, and is now trying to return it with a BS complaint. Our return policy is pretty clear, exchange only if you have the sealed product still. We have refunded for obvious mistakes in the game but never 3 months after the fact.
I will keep you guys up to date if she writes a review.
