Got a call from a graduate today who needed to get into our Learning management software to get a copy of his unofficial transcripts. Verified his identity, gave him his login information, and sent him on his merry little way.
Frustration level=0/100
I hang up with him, and my phone rings immediately. I love being here alone over the noon hour.

It's the most technically inept faculty member on campus. He thinks "webmail" and "Outlook Express" can be used interchangeably. He's pretty much screwed, and I hope I'm not the one who has to tell him that, but I know better.
Frustration level=50/100
Hang up with him, after the promise that he'll call back if he still has problems at home, and the phone rings immediately AGAIN.
Frustration level=60/100
Former graduate calls back, saying that the directions he has doesn't work, and he's not seeing the section he's supposed to.
I explain what exactly he should be seeing. He doesn't see it. I log in as him. I get a little confused when I'm prompted to accept the EULA. I shrug it off. I see the section he needs. He doesn't. I verify he's on the right page, he is.
So then I get the bright idea to ask, "Does it say, 'Welcome back, SC?'"
"Uh, no."
"Then you haven't logged in."
"Oh. I'm an idiot."
Yes, yes you are.
