Seriously - how hard it is to just TURN ON A COMPUTER?

A client is having issues with her laptop so I tell her to just connect it and turn it on.

They do all that, then sign on and gives me the IP address etc.. (not really needed).

I tell her that I cannot work on it when she is logged in and to sign off - but leave it on.

Hmm, can't ping the machine now. Did you turn it off?

Yeah.

I need it on - just turn it on and do not sign in.

I finally get remoted into the PC and guess what? She's signed on!
