  • You Can Stick It Where The Sun Doesn't Shine!

ConvergysSuck's thread reminded me of this little gem. A little BG: I worked in a different department that did fee-based almost geek-squad (ish) tech support. The sales agents who sell and process the payments (they are in the same call center as my old department) to and from customers before we techies get the call (a warm transfer unless we had a shit load of calls in queue).

My co-worker L got this gem and told me this. Even better was that her supervisor G (who is everyone's favorite and really cool) played the call from his computer for everyone to listen to the last bit of the call (which was the clincher).

L gets this guy that calls up about an issue with his wireless connection and/or card. She does her sales spiel and tells him the fees. He balks at the fees and then she proceeds to tell him that the cheapest rate he can pay to get his issue fixed is $x.xx. He then gets riled up and retorts to her "Well tell your boss that I said that he can go fuck himself with a wireless card!" and then hangs up on her.

Well, that kinda makes sense. Especially if you put it down on the I5/I90 interchange: it'll never find its way home again.
