I don't post a lot on here, but I'm finally back to work, yay!
Two person IT department, supporting approximately 230 users in 4 locations.
Due to the snow storm we had a few users stay home today and others went home for various assorted reasons.
User calls me with connectivity issues. She's at home, on her laptop attempting to connect via remote desktop to her work machine and unable to.
Sigh...
I gently ask her why she decided to go home today. She replies with, the power was out!
Um...yeah.
Bless her heart, she emailed me later from her home account thanking me for dealing with her questions and for being there to deal with her lack of knowledge. Which I have to say is typical of my end users so while I can't be pissy about her question, I can laugh and move on. Right?
