  • Cell phone question

    Heyas kiddies!

I have a very odd little question for you guys that work with major cell phone companies. I recently replaced my phone (love it by the way) and was told that I just had to reload my ringtones and then call in to get the charges taken off (this by the in store people).

No problem there as I did this before when I had to replace my old cell phone before. Redownload all 15 and was good to go that time. This time, I redownloaded them and was told I'm stuck with the charges since they couldn't find the charges in the past year. I understand their reasoning but I am not sure why they could before and not now. I'm pretty sure the first time around it had been well over a year as well.

I didn't argue but it did take me a bit to understand so I do feel bad for questioning her a bit (she was so very very very nice though which is a blessing after what I dealt with for a few years with this company). It just had a rather "blonde" moment.

So um, those of you in the know, am I screwed or is there anyway I can prove that I did purchase them and redownloaded them? Thanks in advance!!
Today was going to be just one of those days...you know, full of zombies.

Well, if you have a previous bill with the charges on them, or if you still have your old phone with the ringtones on it, either one might be a way to prove it, but if they said "They can't find it in the last year," did you download them less than 12 months ago? It might be policy that if the download is more than a year old, they won't reverse the redownload charges.
