GAH! iTunes... keeps.... crashing!!!!

Anyone else have that problem, and how to get around it?

I'm trying to convert mpg and avi to play on it (Katie, I tried the AVS stuff, but without registering, it puts a nasty watermark on my vids )

Not to mention.. genres????

Since when did Black Sabbbath become pop???

I've seen different listings for the same song categorized as different genres. As far as I can tell, there is little difference in their world between "Alternative," "Rock," and "Pop."

I haven't had a problem with it crashing, but it does slow down my computer. Then again, my computer is a piece of .

I have 2 programs that I use dependant on what type of video files I am trying to convert, or if I am trying to shift straight from DVD to iphone.

One is Videora iPhone Converter, the other is Aimersoft DVD Studio (Which if I remember correctly is Pay-to-use for the whole studio package now , it's been a LONG time since I started using it)

I haven't tried converting videos to my iPod, but I get a similar reaction...

For some reason, they consider Morning Musume to be Rock (MM is anything but, it's a Japanese pop idol group) and Utada Hikaru to be world (true sorta...).
Although I got extremely annoyed when I wiped my iPod and it wiped my purchases as well....grrrrr.

I also use Videora for video. I've had luck with 3 out of 4 series that I've converted.

That be why I also use Aimersoft, it tends to cover the ones that Videora doesn't like
