  • Speaking of mice...

Has anybody had any experience with the Mac wireless mice?

I've been using a wired mouse, but the wire is so short and is always in the way. I've been thinking about getting a wireless, but my experience with wireless have been less than stellar to date.

I don't care for wireless myself, as I tend to run the batteries out quickly. If the length of the cord is the issue, you can get cords that can extend the reach in both PS/2 and USB varieties fairlt easily. They also sell mice with longer cables, so I'd measure what you have now and look online for longer ones.

We're testing the new bluetooth mouse for Mac. We had some slight user error with the scroll mouse portion of it, but that's the only issues.

The bluetooth mouse is the one I'm thinking of. I know the issues with batteries, but for a laptop mouse that doesn't get used on a regular basis it won't be as big an issue as with a desktop mouse that gets used all the time.

If you remember to switch it off when you're not using it.

I use Logitech mice with recharging holsters. They're meant for desktop use, but there's no reason why a Bluetooth one couldn't be recharged at home and used with a laptop.
