My mother's day gift to Mom was fixing her computer.
The issue: every time she tried to open any file, or pretty much do anything she'd get a popup for that... "c:\PROGRA~1\google~1\GOEC62~1.DLL" and some error.
I was preparing to reformat her computer but decided... let's see what happens when I do THIS first...
"THIS" was - copying over the "C:\Program Files\google" folder to an external hard drive and then deleting the original folder.
that was it. All I had to do.
And I backed up her computer afterwards.
But that was it. Yay.
