This is really driving me nuts!

Yesterday, on YouTube, I saw a message stating that I now had to sign in with a Google email account. Why, I do not know. So I did.

Now. Sometimes, when I try to watch a video, I get a black screen. I can hear the sound, but there's no picture. I tried clicking on the DIVX HIQ button underneath the screen. I then downloaded DIVX Plus. Click, click, click, and then sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes the picture will cut out after a few minutes, and I just have sound.

Does anyone know what's causing this?

I get the same thing occasionally but without the black screen. I am able to somehow bypass the Google account creation thing.

I believe it is due to the fact that Google bought YouTube a while back and they are incorporating and consolidating things together for universal access.
