  • Weird CSS display problem

So a friend of mine writes "abridged version" parodies of classic literature, which I edit, format, and post. The latest for some reason has a short scrollbar at the bottom of the page. It's only there when looking at the full page. If it loads in the site's frames, the page looks normal. Any idea what might be the source of this, or is it just that this one has some long, unbroken strings of letters?

I just looked at it in Firefox 3.6.14 and I didn't see any horizontal scrollbar.

    My screen's width is 1280.

I'm on Firefox 3.6, but my resolution is 1024. Since it doesn't show up in frames, and the frames include a sidebar, the width is probably where the problem is showing up. Mainly wondering about it because none of the other pages do this, and they all use pretty much the same formatting. Though I'm really suspecting it's from the long "screaming" bits in this one. Not sure how to fix that without actually changing the text, which I'm not fond of doing since I didn't write it.
