  • Firefox acting up

Been noticing recently, that at random intervals, Firefox has been failing to render HTML, instead giving me the page source in plain text, or more often, just a numeral 0 in the upper left hand corner. Hitting reload will get me the page the way it's supposed to look.

    Anybody else ever get this?

Yes, I've seen that a few times. Is it happening on the most recent update? That's when I noticed it happening to me. Refresh fixes it, and everything is fine. I haven't seen it on any of the help pages, but I might not be searching the right term either.

I happen to notice it a lot when I'm on Wikipedia and Yahoo. I haven't seen it anywhere else I frequent.

Slightly off topic, I downloaded the beta for the new 4.0 and it has the some issues of well, one of which is in fact the improper loading. So it might be a bug between the gap of Firefox 3 and the upcoming Firefox 4.
    Random conversation:
Me: Okay..so I think I get why Zoro wears a bandana
    DDD: Cuz it's cool

So, by using the Doctor's reasoning, bow ties, fezzes and bandanas are cool.

yeah, it's been updating as new releases come out, and it's still doing it.

It might be significant that it's going through the proxomitron, which does occasionally screw up javascript that it passes through, but I've run that for years and it's only started doing this recently. I'll have to run "barefoot" for a while and see if it's still doing it.
